Cafe Bizzarro: 700 Hobo Names and good times!

At Cafe Bizzarro, the gaudy over the top and all over the place decor dominates the scenery.  Great Italian food, and wonderful staff make it a great evening place for romantic getaways or fun family events!  The bathrooms of course follow suit!  Head to Wallingford to this great headroom.

If a restaurant adds audio effects to the experience, I’m a huge fan already!  Cafe Bizzarro has a looping old recording of 700 Hobo names to keep your mind laughing while you are doing you business.  Here is a bit of our experience:

With the 700 Hobo Names loop, you also have odd family photos, many at different angles, some odds and ends, peculiar collectables!

The Men’s restroom has great lighting, and the bathroom goer must not be gunshy.  All of the odd paintings of cats, hobos and weird dudes are staring at the toilet user.

In the Bowl: Bathroom Garden Getaway!

If you haven’t been to this bathroom, I strongly recommend occupying it soon!  I haven’t seen or heard anything like this one.  In the Bowl is known for spicy food (I’m a 4 star spice kinda guy, but here I take 2) and great vegetarian options.  The menu is a pleasure in itself with it’s odd word usage and using the term “Episodes” for courses.  Always provides a chuckle when you see the names of dishes.

For the bathroom, words don’t do it justice! Check out this Youtube experience of it:

When you walk in the bathroom, you will hear the lovely sounds of birds chirping away.  Your eyes feast on the lush plants placed all over the walls and surrounding the fixtures, toilet and sink.  You are entering a forest, so now do your business in peace!   The sounds and plastic plants provide so much relaxation for your bathroom pleasure! It’s where you have always wanted to drop the kids off at the pool right?

Redwood: Shooting practice in the bathroom!

redwood

The bathrooms at The Redwood add a great touch to the hunting style dive bar.  After you’ve had enough peanuts and tossed the shells on the ground, hit the can at the Redwood for target practice.  The walls are covered with animal prints from shooting galleries and the wooden panels continue the bars theme.  The great 60’s-tastic sink and fixtures make this bathroom even memorable after a bender.  This is one of my favorite bathrooms in Seattle.  Divey, but intended! Hipster indeed.  There are two bathrooms in this bar, and both have their different décor.

8 Oz. Burgers: Pee in a Keg

The bathroom at 8 Oz. Burgers on Capitol Hill always pleases!  It’s rustic, but clean and features a keg done turned into a urinal!   The bathroom art reminds of you of the tasty food you’ll be filling yourself with.  The only thing I would add would be throwing some ice into the keg urinal, as this is every man’s pleasure!  Melting the ice! Great chalk art if you want to get personal and artistic after you’ve washed your hands!
